THINK SAFETY A good way to remember to check your smoke alarm is at DAY LIGHT SAVINGS TIME - when you set your clocks back/forward always check your batteries even if you don't think they need it.
NEW GRASS TRUCK In February 2007 the department purchased a 2007 Chevy Truck to convert into a brush truck. The truck will be used for grass and brush fires. It will take a lot of manpower and time to put this together. We are hoping to finish and be responding to calls in MAY of this year. Come by the station any Tuesday evening and check out what your support and donations have done for your community.
SVFD-EMS IS ALWAYS LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS If you are 18 years old and live in the Spicewood area, you can become a volunteer. The department trains all of our members. We have meetings every Tuesday at 7:30pm. Come sit in and meet our volunteers.
YOUR TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATIONS Your support and donations is what helps the department to continue to operate. Without your donations we would not be able to respond on your emergency calls. Send your tax-deductible donations to: Spicewood VFD-EMS, PO Box 2, Spicewood, TX 78669. |
